Post-Tisha B’Av (Ninth of Av) 2023 event
Throughout July 25, 2023, preceding Tisha B’Av, groups and individuals were invited to ANU museum for a special tour and interactive experience. The event centered around themes such as growth and scarcity, openness and closedness, and the relationship between diaspora and the nation-state in the Jewish world, all in the context of Tisha B’Av and the heightened tensions in Israel. Around 50 participants, from diverse backgrounds and age groups, took part in the event, coming together to connect and engage in meaningful discussions.
As part of the experience, guests took part in a one-hour guided tour followed by a one-hour encounter session. Separate tours were offered in both English and Hebrew, while the encounter was conducted in a bilingual format for the mixed group. The event was promoted on the ANU website and social media platforms, reaching out to targeted programs and organizations, as well as the general public.
