The “Learning Space”
The Koret Center, in collaboration with the Entin Faculty of Humanities, initiated a “Learning Space” to support students, many of whom have been called to reserve duty during the war.
The space, which operated during the second semester exam break, provided academic assistance to around 160 students, including 130 reserve soldiers. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with students praising the opportunity to work alongside doctoral students for guidance in a quiet, supportive atmosphere that helped them stay focused and cope during difficult times. The initiative was further enriched by providing scholarships for those who committed to attending multiple sessions, offering much-needed academic support and structure amidst the chaos.
This program not only provided critical academic support but also fostered a sense of community and respite, allowing students to make progress despite the challenges posed by the ongoing situation.
