Ottomania: A Celebration of Turkish Culture
The Koret center hosts many events, but a significant part of our activity involves supporting external initiatives and encouraging them. In June 2023, together with the Student Union at Tel Aviv University, an event focused on the Jewish-Turkish heritage was organized.
Over 100 participants attended, including researchers, students, lecturers, and members of the general audience. The participants were exposed, some for the first time, to the cultural treasures of Turkish Jewry – one of the unique cultures in the mosaic of Jewish civilization.
