Research seminar at Tel Aviv University: “Findings and Exhibits: Jewish History Through Sight & Sense”
The Koret center is proud to offer an innovative research seminar offering graduate students an interdisciplinary opportunity to explore Jewish history through the museum’s artifacts. The program will lead participants to select an object or a series of objects from the ANU Museum, conduct detailed research on their historical and cultural significance, and produce a scholarly paper based on their findings. The seminar will combine academic rigor with hands-on experience, fostering intellectual exchange between Tel Aviv University and the museum.
Students will receive personalized academic mentorship from Professor Maoz Kahana and support from the Koret Foundation, including a scholarship and involvement in foundation activities. The final research outcomes will contribute to public education through museum exhibitions and other outreach channels. This seminar promotes the exploration of Jewish history and culture while supporting the Koret Foundation’s mission to enhance Jewish education and cultural heritage.
