Gvahim networking events
In collaboration with the Givim Association, Koret Center organized two unique community and networking events at the ANU Museum, designed specifically for new immigrants who have arrived in Israel over the past five years.
The events included guided tours of the museum, focusing on the history of Jewish diaspora and the various waves of immigration to Israel. The tours were conducted in both English and Russian to accommodate the diverse group of participants.
Each evening began with a social gathering that provided a platform for networking and connection, aimed at helping newcomers build valuable relationships as they settle into their new lives in Israel. The events were held on two separate days—one for Russian-speaking immigrants and one for English-speaking immigrants—though in practice, participants also included French and Spanish speakers.
The attendees enjoyed a fascinating tour of the museum, which delved into Jewish history and the different waves of aliyah. This was followed by a semi-guided networking session in the Tish Gallery, where participants had the opportunity to engage and connect with one another. Nearly 200 immigrants attended the two events, representing a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and languages.
Givim Association was instrumental in recruiting the participants, while Koret Center provided the guiding and facilitation, ensuring a rich and meaningful experience for all involved.
